Very nice staff, invisible and friendly like kindly ghost. We were greeted at the train station and carry out to trains.

This hotel is perfectly situated, as it is an easy walk to convenient stores and restaurants. the bus stop, although uphill, provides stunning views and is a mere 5, 10 minute walk away. the rooms are equipped with a well, stocked kitchenette, perfect for self, catering and the spacious bathrooms are modern with great shower facilities. the breakfast spread is excellent, and the owner is always ready to help with recommendations. the view from the balcony is breathtaking and perfect for relaxing.
Although the room was comfortable and clean, the lighting was dim which made it a bit challenging for reading or working.

Having an apartment with a kitchen is a great time and money saver. Breakfast or diner on the the deck with a Materhorn view is wonderful. The decor is fun and the location is quiet. The owner is very pleasant and helpful. This is an apartment, not a hotel, so don't expect hotel cleaning services. You do have to clean your own dishes, but you don't have to clean the apartment when you leave as some have suggested.
A somewhat long walk from town with luggage. The last 200m is pretty steep. You will want a taxi if you have a lot of luggage, but depending on time and conditions, the owner sometimes offers to give a ride. Location is fine for someone of average mobility. Not good if you have difficulty walking distances or steep hills.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Switzerland. The hotel was located in a quiet neighborhood, slightly up the hill from the center of town. This meant that it was away from the hustle and bustle, providing a peaceful and calm atmosphere. Plus, the location offered stunning views of the Matterhorn, which I was able to enjoy from the outside balcony of my room. The hotel also provided excellent value for money, with reasonable prices and basic amenities that met all my needs. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided attentive service throughout my stay. And to top it all off, the breakfast was delicious, with fresh bread from a local bakery and a variety of tasty local preserves. my experience at this hotel was exceptional, and I would definitely choose to stay here again.
Everything was perfect.

I can find all I needed in this Hotel. The warmth and hospoitality of the staff is well beyond my expectation. I can actually watch the Matterhorn during sunny days in the balcony, a great view and fulfill the most important purpose of my stay in Zermatt. It would be my first choice if I am to visit Zermatt again in the future.

I had an awesome stay at Artist Apartments in Zermatt. The Picasso apartment on the 5th floor had breathtaking views of the Matterhorn and the Zermatt village. The apartment was spacious, well equipped, and cleaned to perfection. I especially loved the balcony where I could enjoy the stunning mountains. The kitchen had everything I needed, including a dishwasher and a standard oven. The bathroom and bedroom were spacious and practical, with a comfortable mattress. The hotel also offered great services, like ordering bread and milk and having access to a free washing machine. The wifi connection was perfect and stable. I had an unforgettable experience and I highly recommend this hotel.

Very quiet at night and comfortable. Excellent, helpful staff. Lovely view, though there was nearby construction which was mildly annoying during the day.
Nearby construction as noted.
